Description of Dish:

As the name says it all, though this dish is indeed delicious, and it originated from Beijing, it would be advised to not eat this often as it is one of those Chinese dishes that is extremely high in fat as this duck has a lot of fat under its skin. Hence when it is roasted, the fat is allowed to literally melt whilst it is being roasted. When the duck is sliced or cut into pieces, you can literally see the oil pool or collect on the tray whereon the duck rests and this comes from the fat.

Though this is not eaten often, it is still a must dish to appear on Chinese meal tables for those special occasions. Due to the special and unique manner in which the duck is prepared (that only the Chinese are renown to do), this dish can be very expensive.
